Community not Capitalism

I had two new dreams this week that told me I was trying to build and measure my spiritual business using the wrong method & metrics….

I explain in this video. Here’s the transcript:

I want to share two recent dreams with you—because they reminded me that our dreams don’t just give us broad life guidance like “start this business.” They also offer precise course corrections along the way.

Back in the Spring, I had dreams urging me to start my dream interpretation business. So I did, and I’ve been working on building it up. This past week, two new dreams came through with the same message—one that’s fascinating, and honestly, a little scary.

In the first dream, I saw teenage boys playing basketball in a high school gym. One boy was incredible—he could shoot from anywhere, barely look, and the ball would sink into the hoop like it was magnetically drawn. Everyone else watched in awe. But then—he missed. Three times in a row. And not just missed—the ball arced low, falling short, nowhere near the basket.

In the second dream, I was at a friend’s lake house having dinner. Suddenly, I became possessed by the spirit of my father. He was obsessed with building a house on that lake. Now, in real life, my dad was a DIY guy—highly intelligent but chaotic and haphazard. A ‘ram it through’ kind of guy.  And yeah—I inherited some of those traits. So, possessed by my father, I walked outside, grabbed some long metal poles, and waded into the lake waist deep. I started trying to mark out the foundation of a house. In the water. Crazy, right?

When I channeled on both dreams, it turned out they had the same message.

The basketball dream reflected how I’ve easily succeeded in past careers—using assertive, driven masculine energy. That was the boy sinking shots. But now, those same shots fall short. That method no longer works.

The lake dream showed me what happens if I try to build my business using my inherited masculine energy—of trying to force things through by sheer will. I’d be building a foundation in the wrong place.  Unstable.

So I asked my guides: Am I doing something wrong? Don’t I need goals, projections, drive? That’s what business is, right?

Here’s what came through:

“Don’t focus on money. Focus on sharing your knowledge. On love. On nurturing. Give from the heart, and the money will follow. Not: I want X clients by Y date. Instead: How can I connect to the people I’m meant to help? How can I serve with no expectation?”

That’s feminine energy. And it’s terrifying.

Because it asks us to trust. To give. To let go of the excel spreadsheets and expecting immediate reward. But isn’t that the world we’re moving toward? Not one built on capitalism—but community?
